    New nickel 223 brass

    Size and trim and then wet tumble or tumble first?

    Where it is new brass and not once fired does it even need to be sized and trimmed?

    It doesn’t hurt to run new brass through a sizing die, that way you’re sure its in spec. I have seen some new brass that is deformed in one way or another. Trimming may not be necessary but the length should be checked just in case. It is not fun when you have a jam during that trophy hunt or timed competition.

    I ran the 1,000 I had through an extra tumbling in corncob media and then checked every one of them in a L.E. Wilson case gauge.
    None needed sizing or trimming!
    So, they're primed and awaiting powder and projectiles.
